Biography

Marthe Meurier was a resident of Saint Germain-en-Laye, a historic town in the Yvelines department of France. She lived through a transformative period in French history, witnessing the Belle Époque and the onset of the First World War.

Her life spanned the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, a time of significant cultural and social change in France. She was laid to rest in the Old Communal Cemetery of her hometown, where she remains remembered as part of the community's heritage.
