Mary A. Talcott

Biography

Mary A. Talcott, born in 1845, came of age in a nation healing from internal conflict and became a loving anchor for family and friends in the neighborhoods around Rosehill Cemetery. Her calm resolve and willingness to stand beside others through times of hope and hardship won the quiet esteem of all who knew her.

In later years she found comfort in long walks along the tree-lined boulevards, sharing memories with younger kin; those same paths now lead visitors to her peaceful rest where her thoughtful spirit is still remembered.
