Mary Bassett Clarke, born in 1831, touched many lives with her gracious spirit and unwavering support for family and neighbors in the Oak Grove area. She offered encouragement and compassion, helping others through times of joy and difficulty alike.

When she passed in 1908, those who knew her honored her memory by celebrating the warmth she shared, and she was laid to rest in Oak Grove Cemetery surrounded by gratitude.
