Mary Brown

Biography

Mary Brown was born in 1728 and died in 1807 at an advanced age, having witnessed nearly eighty years of American history. She lived through the colonial period, the Revolutionary War, and into the early years of the new nation.

She was buried in Acushnet Cemetery, where she rests among her community members and loved ones.
