Mary Harrison McKee, daughter of President Benjamin Harrison, brought the poise of the White House to her later life, stewarding family legacy and community causes with quiet dignity.

Following her father’s tenure and after his passing in 1901, she remained a private yet steady presence in Indianapolis, where she was laid to rest in Crown Hill Cemetery.
