Biography

Mary Trumbull Williams was born in 1746 and lived through the Revolutionary War and the establishment of the American nation. Her eighty-five years of life allowed her to witness the transformation of the colonies and the early growth of the United States.

She was laid to rest in Old Cemetery, a burial ground that served her community for many generations. Her long life and respectful burial reflect the esteem and affection with which she was regarded by her family and community.
