Mary Walbridge

Biography

Mary Walbridge was born in 1795 during the early years of the American republic. She lived through the nation's expansion and development, witnessing significant social and political changes across her seventy-two years of life.

Walbridge passed away in 1867 and was laid to rest at Glenwood Cemetery. Her life extended from the post-Revolutionary period through the Civil War and into Reconstruction, making her a witness to some of the most transformative events in American history.
