Biography
Maurice Tauber devoted his life to the stewardship of knowledge, nurturing the craft of librarianship and deepening understanding of collection development and bibliographic history.
He inspired generations of caretakers of the written word through thoughtful teaching, writing, and a generous spirit of collaboration, and he now rests at Mount Lebanon Cemetery, leaving behind a tradition of service to scholars everywhere.
