Biography

Maxime Dastugue was a French painter born in 1851 who established himself as a notable figure in the artistic community of his time. His career spanned the latter half of the nineteenth century, a period marked by diverse artistic movements and experimentation.

Dastugue's contributions to French painting were recognized throughout his lifetime, and he remained active in his artistic pursuits until his death in 1909. He was interred in Saint-Ouen Cemetery, where his memory is preserved among other notable figures of the era.
