Biography

Melchior de Vogüé was a French marquis and accomplished diplomat who served his nation with distinction during the nineteenth century. His dual roles as both a nobleman and diplomatic representative positioned him at the intersection of French aristocracy and international relations during a pivotal era in European history.

Born in 1848, de Vogüé died in 1910 at the age of sixty-two.
