Meredith Gairdner

Biography

Meredith Gairdner lived a brief life marked by the challenges of the early nineteenth century. Born in 1809, she came of age during a formative period in American history.

Her memory is preserved in Mission Cemetery, where she rests alongside others from her community. Though her years were few, spanning only twenty-eight years until her death in 1837, she remains part of the historical record of her time.
