Biography
Micajah T. Williams was a man of the early nineteenth century whose life coincided with a period of significant American growth and development. Born in 1792, Williams lived through the War of 1812 and the subsequent expansion of the nation's institutions and communities.
Williams made his home in the Cincinnati area, where he was interred at Spring Grove Cemetery, one of the nation's most distinguished burial grounds. His life, which ended in 1844, represents the generation that helped build the infrastructure and institutions of the American heartland during its formative decades.
