Biography

Michał Jakub Pfanhauser was a skilled watchmaker whose craftsmanship contributed to the commercial and cultural life of 19th-century Warsaw. Born in 1799, he practiced his trade during a period of technological and industrial development in Europe.

Pfanhauser's expertise in watchmaking reflected the precision and artistry valued in his profession. He lived until 1857, leaving behind a legacy of fine craftsmanship. He was interred at Powązki Cemetery, where he rests among other notable Warsaw residents.
