Biography

Michael Choraeus (1774–1806) was a Swedish priest whose ministry was cut short by his untimely death at the age of 32. Despite his brief life, he served the Church of Sweden during the early years of the 19th century, contributing to the spiritual life of his congregation during a period of religious and social transition.

Choraeus represents the dedicated clergy of his era who committed themselves to pastoral care and ecclesiastical duties. His memory is preserved in Solna Cemetery, a final resting place that reflects his service to the Church and his community during the early Romantic period in Sweden.
