Biography
Michael Constantine (1927-2021) brought warmth, nuance, and a disarming wit to stage, film, and television for more than sixty years, best known for his role as Gus Portokalos in My Big Fat Greek Wedding and for capturing the humor of everyday characters.
He championed the joys of Greek American culture, mentored younger actors, and his laughter lingers in the many lives he touched; he is laid to rest at Charles Evans Cemetery.
