Michael Hayek

Biography

Michael Hayek was a member of the Jewish community in Brno who lived from 1812 to 1884. His seventy-two years of life spanned much of the nineteenth century, a period of significant change and development for Jewish communities throughout Central Europe and Moravia.

Hayek's final resting place in the Jewish cemetery in Brno reflects his deep roots in the community and his enduring place within its historical and cultural memory.
