Biography
Mickey Livingston, born in 1914, spent eleven seasons as a catcher in Major League Baseball, most notably with the Chicago Cubs, and won the admiration of teammates and fans for his quick wit, steady glove, and calm leadership behind the plate. After the roar of the stadium he remained rooted in the Chicago area, where he shared his love of the game with young players and kept the spirit of the sport bright.
