Biography
Mihkel Härms (1874–1941) pursued the study of birdlife with careful observation, recording seasonal migrations and the habits of songbirds for the enrichment of science and the general public. His field journals and public talks brought birds into sharper focus for those who rarely had the chance to study them closely.
He shared his knowledge with teachers and enthusiasts alike, encouraging a culture of respect for Estonia's natural habitats. He rests now at Peetri Cemetery.
