Biography

Mikhail Ivanovich Kozlovsky was one of Russia's most celebrated sculptors of the late 18th century. His works exemplified the Neoclassical style and earned him considerable acclaim within the Russian artistic establishment and beyond.

Kozlovsky's sculptures were noted for their technical excellence and expressive power, contributing substantially to the development of Russian sculptural tradition. He was laid to rest at Smolenskoye Orthodox Cemetery, a testament to his prominence in Russian cultural life.
