Biography
Mikhail Subbotin was a prominent Russian astronomer whose scientific contributions advanced the field of celestial mechanics and observational astronomy. His career at Pulkovo Observatory, one of Russia's most prestigious scientific institutions, spanned much of the twentieth century and encompassed significant research during periods of considerable change in Soviet science.
