Biography

Milo White (1830–1913) was among the pioneers who helped shape the Chatfield area during the early years of Minnesota statehood. He devoted himself to tending the land and nurturing the close-knit community that grew up around their barns and schoolhouses.

Even as the region evolved, Mr. White remained a steady and compassionate neighbor, faithfully supporting his fellow citizens through seasons of plenty and want. Those who knew him remember a quiet strength and a deep love for his hometown, resting now in Chatfield Cemetery.
