Biography
Mireille Jospin, born in 1910, began her work as a midwife in Meudon when maternal care was evolving rapidly, and she became a reassuring presence for families at a time of great social change. Her patient attention to each birth reflected a deep respect for women’s strength and the trust they placed in her.
She shared her knowledge with younger midwives, helped urban mothers balance work and family life, and remained a beloved figure in community health circles until her death in 2002.
