Miroslav Hanka

Biography

Miroslav Hanka was born in 1920 and died in 1958, representing a generation that came of age during the interwar period and lived through World War II and its aftermath. His relatively brief life of thirty-eight years was marked by the turbulent events that shaped modern Central Europe.

Hanka was a member of the Telnice community, where he is commemorated in the local cemetery. Though his years were few, he lived through some of the most significant historical events of the twentieth century.
