Biography

Miroslav Zajíček (1918–1992) lived through nearly three-quarters of the twentieth century, experiencing the major historical transitions that shaped Czech society. His lifetime encompassed the final years of the Austro-Hungarian Empire's legacy, the interwar period, World War II, and the post-war era.

Zajíček's long life reflected the resilience and continuity of Czech culture and community across generations of significant change. He was laid to rest in the Cemetery in Židenice, where he is remembered as a member of the generation that witnessed and lived through the defining moments of modern Czech history.
