Monika Mann
1910–1992 (age 82)
Biography
Monika Mann, the youngest child of novelist Thomas Mann, pursued her own literary path, keeping candid diaries and composing reflections that traced the family's artistic orbit and the wider world in which she lived.
She defended the value of personal storytelling, remained close to friends in exile and at home, and is remembered at Kilchberg cemetery for the courage with which she chronicled both joy and hardship.
