Biography
Monte M. Katterjohn (1891–1949) was a gifted writer whose love of storytelling led him to the burgeoning film industry of the 1910s and 1920s, where he helped craft intertitles and scripts that brought dramatic tales to life on the silent screen.
Though the industry shifted around him, he remained committed to his craft and generous with younger writers, and friends remember his warmth and wit as they visit Maple Grove Cemetery where he rests.
