Moore Furman

Biography

Moore Furman was a significant member of the First Presbyterian Church community, living through the Revolutionary era and into the early nineteenth century. His life reflected the values and commitments of his faith community.

He was buried in the First Presbyterian Churchyard, where he remains among the faithful departed. Furman's eighty years of life spanned from the colonial period through the early decades of American independence.
