Mór Ráth

Biography

Mór Ráth (1829–1903) was a Hungarian bookseller whose work in the book trade contributed to the dissemination of knowledge and literature throughout Hungary. As a merchant of books, he played an important role in making written works accessible to the reading public of his era.

Ráth's dedication to the book trade reflected the cultural values of 19th-century Hungary and his commitment to advancing literacy and learning. He was buried in the Fiume Road Graveyard, where his memory is preserved as part of Hungary's cultural and commercial heritage.
