Biography

Mordechai Salomon, born in 1806, was a devoted member of the Jerusalem community whose quiet strength supported the needs of his neighbors in an era of profound change. Though not seeking the spotlight, he stood as a pillar of reliability and compassion in the daily rhythms of life within the Old City.

Upon his passing in 1865, he was laid to rest on the Mount of Olives Jewish Cemetery, where his memory continues as a testament to steadfast friendship and care for others.
