Mordechai Zar

Biography

Mordechai Zar was a committed public servant whose work in the early decades of the state helped bring vital infrastructure and educational opportunities to new immigrants.

As a member of the Knesset he championed social welfare initiatives and agricultural development, drawing on his own experience to strengthen Israel's emerging society.
