Biography

Morgan Henry Chrysler, born in 1822, rose to lead men in the Union Army and later used that same sense of duty to help veterans and neighbors find their footing in peacetime, always mindful of the sacrifices made for the nation.

He spent quieter years among the rolling fields near Prospect Hill, where visitors now pause by his grave to recall a leader who balanced decisiveness with a gentle concern for every soldier and family he encountered.
