Morris B. Belknap

Biography

Morris B. Belknap was a businessman and military veteran whose leadership in industry reflected a principled approach to commerce and public service. He maintained a strong sense of duty to Louisville and the nation, carrying that ethos into all of his endeavors.

Belknap’s career demonstrated how civic responsibility and private initiative can work in concert to serve wider goals, and his memory lingers as an example of conscientious leadership. He rests beside fellow luminaries at Cave Hill Cemetery.
