Biography
Mort Glickman scored some of the Republic Pictures films that brought adventure and animation to millions, composing propulsive and emotionally charged music for serials and features alike. His gift for dramatic pacing helped scene after scene lift off, lending momentum to action-packed reels and tender moments alike.
While much of his work accompanied Westerns and cliffhangers, Glickman also supported colleagues in the recording studio, ensuring every cue and flourish served the story on the screen.
