Moses Alexander, born in 1853, will forever be honored as a pioneering civic leader who served as Boise’s mayor and later became one of the nation’s earliest Jewish governors when he led Idaho from 1915 to 1919.
He championed progressive reforms, civic responsibility, and compassion for working families, leaving a dignified legacy that endures beyond his final rest at Morris Hill Cemetery.
