Moses Hampton

Biography

Moses Hampton (1803–1878) served as a United States Congressman, representing his district with dedication during a transformative period in American history. His legislative career reflected the interests and values of his Pennsylvania constituents during the mid-nineteenth century.

Hampton's service in Congress contributed to the political discourse of his era, and he remained active in public affairs throughout his life. He was laid to rest in Allegheny Cemetery, a final resting place befitting his station and service to the nation.
