Moses Jacob Ezekiel earned enduring admiration as a sculptor whose public monuments, from solemn memorials to celebratory tributes, gave form to the nation’s ideals and captured its heroes.
A soldier who later turned to the arts, he built an international reputation and, through teaching and friendship, inspired generations of artists before his interment at Arlington National Cemetery.
