Moses Kinkaid

Biography

Moses Kinkaid (1856-1922) served Nebraska with distinction in the United States Congress, championing the needs of farmers, ranchers, and rural communities. He earned a reputation as a thoughtful lawmaker, most notably authoring the Kinkaid Act, which helped secure land ownership for homesteaders and strengthened the economic future of the Panhandle.
