Moses W. Field

Biography

Moses W. Field was born in 1828 and came to Michigan as a young man, where he took part in commerce and devoted himself to education and charitable causes.

He represented his state in the U.S. House from 1873 to 1875, advocating for agricultural interests and veterans, then returned home to support local industry and civic life until his death in 1889.
