Biography
Rabbi Mosheh Yehudah Leyb Zilberberg, born in 1794, became known in Jerusalem for his tireless dedication to Torah study and to offering gentle guidance to the people who turned to him for support. His deep knowledge and warm demeanor provided stability in a city that treasured its scholars.
He died in 1865 and was interred on the Mount of Olives Jewish Cemetery, joining the ranks of sages who remain a source of inspiration for pilgrims and residents alike.
