Biography
Muḥammad ibn Aḥmad Mutawallī was a distinguished qāriʾ (Quranic reciter) whose mastery of Quranic recitation made him a respected figure in Egyptian religious life. His expertise in tajweed and Quranic interpretation contributed to the spiritual and educational life of his community.
As a qāriʾ, Mutawallī played an important role in preserving and transmitting the Islamic scholarly tradition, serving as a bridge between classical Islamic learning and contemporary practice in Egypt.
