Biography

Myer Moses was a member of Congregation Shearith Israel, one of the oldest Jewish congregations in America. Living from 1779 to 1833, he was part of the Jewish community during a significant period of American Jewish history.

He was interred in the Third Cemetery of Congregation Shearith Israel, which served the community from 1829 to 1851. His burial there reflects his dedication to his faith and his place within this historic Jewish community.
