Biography

Nándor Báthory devoted his life to shaping young minds along the Adriatic, where his steady presence in the classroom helped generations of students find their footing in a rapidly changing world. His teachings were grounded in diligence and a gentle regard for each pupil, making the schoolroom a place of curiosity and care.

Even after his passing in 1905, the quiet wisdom he shared continues to echo through the city’s educational traditions, and he rests with honor at the Fiume Road Graveyard.
