Natan Shalem (1897-1959) pursued geology with curiosity, studying soils, stones, and landscapes so that others might understand the land they inhabited and the stories it told.
He was laid to rest at Har HaMenuchot, leaving a legacy of respect for the earth he explored and a passion for sharing its lessons.
