Biography

Nathaniel Hathaway was born in 1798 and lived during the early decades of the American republic. He spent his life in rural communities, his legacy preserved in the burial grounds of Rural Cemetery and Friends Cemetery where he was laid to rest in 1836.

Though details of his occupation and daily life remain largely unknown to history, Hathaway's existence is remembered through genealogical records and cemetery documentation.
