Nathaniel Munroe

Biography

Nathaniel Munroe (1742–1814) took part in an era of transformation, and though his particular achievements are not widely recorded, he would have shared in the communal effort to sustain town and family through war and peace.

Mountain View Cemetery holds his grave among others from the same era, a reminder of the ordinary citizens whose steady loyalty built the fabric of the community.
