Ned Buntline

Biography

Ned Buntline, the pen name of Edward Zane Carroll Judson, was born in 1821 and earned fame as a writer and publisher whose dime novels and tall tales helped shape the popular idea of the American West.

He died in 1886, and Stamford Cemetery honors the storyteller whose work brought adventures and larger-than-life characters into homes across the nation.
