Biography

Nellie Spindler devoted herself to nursing, bringing calm authority and tender care to patients as she trained to ease suffering with every quiet act.

In 1917 she answered the call to serve near the front, tending to wounded soldiers at the Lijssenthoek facilities until she too became one of the many who rest there today.
