Nelson Cobb

Biography

Nelson Cobb (1811–1894) devoted himself to the practice of law and to upholding the principles of justice, guiding the development of civic institutions with fairness and humility. He was respected for his careful reasoning and his willingness to mentor young citizens as they sought to contribute to public life.

Cobb’s journey of service concluded with his burial at Union Cemetery, where the community honors his thoughtful example and enduring commitment to the rule of law.
