Neville B. Craig

Biography

Neville B. Craig was born in 1787 and lived through the early decades of the American republic and into the nineteenth century. He was a member of the Pittsburgh community during a transformative period in the region's history, witnessing its growth from a small settlement to an important urban center.

Craig passed away in 1863 during the Civil War era and was buried at Allegheny Cemetery. His long life—spanning from the founding era of the nation through the Civil War—made him a witness to profound changes in American society and the development of Western Pennsylvania.
