Biography

Newton C. Blanchard (1849-1922) devoted much of his life to public service, representing Louisiana in the U.S. House, serving as governor, and later sitting in the Senate. His advocacy for improved infrastructure, education, and judicial fairness reflected a deep respect for the people he represented.
